finally, per room heat control?

In our homes, water is controlled at every tap; lights are controlled at every switch; but for sure reason climate control is a sloppy mess of hit and cold spots caused by the lication of the thermostat(s), sun load, and airflow restriction (mostly doors).

Proving again that computers are cheap and can do better, this home DIY project creates "yet another smart vent" that can modulate the airflow to each room based on that room's temperature.

Byzantine Apple M1 repair manual drops

Apple released a repair manual for M1 macbooks, but it has 162 pages of instructions to replace the battery... And currently this requires replacing the entire keyboard and top case as a whole unit, costing $500.

Apple claims a battery-only replacement part will be available someday. My money is on this arriving right after they open Facetime to Android devices.
